It's that time of year to reflect on what we're thankful for. Here are mine.
I am thankful...
...that I didn't get any gray hairs this year. (OK that's a fib, I had ONE rogue one, but it was in my eyebrow so it doesn't count)
...for my health. So many friends and family have health issues and are struggling. I am thankful every day my problems are minimal and for the time being my legs still support all of me.
...for my tennis team. We kicked butt this year and as a result I am checking off one of my bucket list items (to play B level tennis).
...for turkey. Thank you to all the turkeys for your sacrifice. I'm going to stuff my face full of you tomorrow.
...for Amazon.com. Even though they treat their workers like shit, they deliver me everything from lipstick to crafting supplies to dog food in two days flat. I'd be lost without them.
...for Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Ben Carson saying crazier and crazier things every damn day. The more crazy they unleash, the less likely either of them could EVER become POTUS. RIGHT!?!
...for Adele. Damn, that girl can sing. She also proves you don't have to dance/dress/behave like a floozy to kick some major ass in the music industry these days.
...for Ponce City Market and the Beltline. Just when I thought I was bored with Atlanta, they pull me back in.
...for my bad-ass female friends at work. Seriously. Wouldn't get through the day to day without them. I learned everything I know about being a leader from each and every one of them. They make me laugh and they keep me from crying. Rock on bossy bitches. You know who you are.
Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!
