1. David Letterman's New Talk Show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction (Netflix)
David Letterman's newest post-retirement venture puts the "talk" back in talk show. He literally has one guest per episode, no additional gimmicks or distractions. It's just Dave, dedicating an hour (only one per month) to dive deep on that particular person and what makes them who they have become. His first two guests? Barack Obama. And George Clooney. Me likey.

Hashtag adorable.

3. The Kim Cattrall/Sarah Jessica Parker Feud Heats Up
The feud hits a new level! Here's a refresher of the issue: There were years of rumors that Kim Cattrall didn't get along with the other actresses on Sex and the City (1998-2004, HBO) and that Cattrall regularly demanded more money for her role as "Samantha," both during the series and prior to the first movie; news broke in September 2017 that there wouldn't be a third Sex movie because Cattrall wouldn't play ball (allegedly); Cattrall did an interview in October with Piers Morgan to deny she made demands and to point the finger directly at SJP; SJP defended herself on the January 31 episode of Watch What Happens Live and dismissed the idea that they had any sort of feud.

That brings us to early February; after Cattrall's brother passed away suddenly, SJP posted a message of support on Cattrall's Instragram page that led Cattrall to post this:

It's chaos! My hunch is there is some truth to both sides and neither women are acknowledging their role in the tensions, however it also seems like Cattrall has a huge ego and isn't getting it stroked enough for her liking. Also, Team SJP.

4. Conan Visits Haiti (TBS)
In the wake of DJT calling countries like Haiti a "shithole" Conan O'Brien and his team took a trip to Haiti recently and featured it on his show (Conon, TBS).  And because when I love something, I love it A LOT, I couldn't choose between the videos from the trip so I included all of them. Each is cuter and funnier than the last so I encourage you to check them all out. Viva Haiti!

5. The Students of Lakeland Florida
It seems wrong to include this in a post full of TV shows and celebrity nonsense, but it feels wrong not to as well, since it's part of our everyday lives at this point. Another senseless, preventable tragedy has rocked our country this week. 14 children and 3 adults in Lakeland, Florida: Alyssa Alhadeff, Scott Beigel, Martin Duque, Nicholas Dworet, Aaron Feis, Jaime Guttenberg, Chris Hixon, Luke Hoyer, Cara Loughran, Gina Montalto, Joaquin Oliver, Alaina Petty, Meadow Pollack, Helena Ramsey, Alex Schachter, Carmen Schentrup and Peter Wang. Devastating. Horrifying.

But in the midst of tragedy, there is hope: the surviving students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High are standing up and doing what they can to prevent something like this from happening again.  Students like Cameron Kasky, Emma Gonzalez, David Hogg, Alex Wind and Jaclyn Corin, who have been outspoken since the shooting, forming the movement "March For Your Lives," a call to march on Washington D.C. on March 24.
