The BOSSY List: 5 things you need to know this week 8.16.17
1. I'm Sorry (TruTV)
Andrea Savage ("Veep," "Episodes") created and stars in this half-hour scripted comedy as a comedy writer/mom who exposes her inner immaturity and neuroses through unexpected life situations. As she recently said to CinemaBlend, she's just "a funny, nuanced woman who happens to be a mom. I just don't think we get to see that very often."
2. Prince is getting his own official color (purple, of course) from Pantone
Pantone, the company behind the Color Wheel and the "Color of the Year," has partnered with Prince’s estate to create a custom purple called "Love Symbol #2." The color was taken from a custom purple Yamaha piano he was supposed to take on tour before he passed last year. A nice homage to a legend who left us too soon.

3. "Woman" by Kesha featuring The Dap-Kings Horns
Kesha's newest album Rainbow released last Friday August 11 and it's exactly how you'd expect it to be: intense, angry, introspective. The girl's been through a lot.
This song was released in July but I just discovered it. You'll know right away why I like it:
4. The newest Food Network Star: Jason Smith
I don't watch much Food Network anymore. I can't stand the Guy Fieri grocery store nonsense and the 900 cupcake competitions and Giada's boobs - enough already! Where's the actual cooking? Where's Ina!? But the newest FN Star Jason Smith might just be what they need: an engaging, funny, gay guy from Kentucky who is just plain fun to watch. Here's hoping.
5. Barack Obama's tweets quoting Nelson Mandela
As always, just perfect. And also apparently his most-liked tweets EVER. #pleasesaveus
"People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love..."— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) August 13, 2017
"...For love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." - Nelson Mandela— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) August 13, 2017
