1. The next Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay
First thing's first: I am not a fan of my shows getting spoiled ESPECIALLY when it's the producers of the show in question doing the spoiling! I don't think I was the only one who was annoyed to find out the news about Rachel, considering she is still currently a player on this season of "The Bachelor." She is - or was - in my top two for cryin' out loud!
But I will admit - she's going to make a great Bachelorette. She's the full package. And ABC needs her to tackle their diversity demons. So I will forgive them for spoiling Nick's season, since it was boring anyway, but they have to promise -- no more fake drama, no more Corinnes, no more nannies and no more "haunted houses." Thank you.
2. "Planet Earth II" (BBC America)
Remember the series "Planet Earth" that blew our minds with its fabulous documentation of our beloved planet from soup to nuts? That came out 10 years ago! Well, it's back: after 10 long years, there's finally another season.
So unplug your phone, smoke em if you got em and lose yourself in the ULTRA HD detail of "Planet Earth II." Catch the premiere Saturday, February 18 at 9 pm ET on BBC America. Watch episodes of season 1 on iTunes or Amazon or catch a marathon on BBC America Saturday before the premiere (they're showing all 11 episodes of season 1 starting at 10 am ET).
3. Season 2 of "The Detour" (TBS)
"The Detour" was one of the funniest new comedies to come out of 2016. Like I've said before, it's essentially the premise and characters of "Vacation" for the small screen. So get on board because season 2 premieres next week! Watch the (commercial free!) premiere Tuesday, February 21 at 10 pm ET on TBS. Catch up on season 1 on Hulu.
4. Stay All-day Liquid Lipstick by Stila
I'm sure you're thinking to yourself "Does that girl do anything other than watch TV?" I hear you. It's a legitimate concern.
Here's something different: Lipstick! Got one of these babies in a "Favorite Things" Xmas grab and I'm telling you, you won't find an easier to apply, longer lasting matte lipstick to get you through a day of hard work or a night of hard drinkin'. You may be drunk on the inside, but you'll still look good on the outside. (Feel free to borrow that, Stila.)
Buy here or at your favorite department store.
And last but certainly not least...
5. Prince's full catalog now available for streaming
Finally! As you probably know, Prince had all his music pulled from streaming services (except Tidal) in 2014 because he was skeptical of online music sharing. But Warner Bros. and his estate have reversed course. Streaming deals for most of Prince's Warner Bros. catalog were in place as of Grammy night (February 12) and his unreleased tracks will be available soon via Universal Music.Whether you use Apple, GooglePlay, Spotify or Amazon to stream music, or you listen online on Pandora or iHeartRadio, this is big news.
Long live Prince: His Purple Majesty. Listen to my Prince Spotify mix tape here.
