The BOSSY List: 5 things I love this week 7.8.16
I've decided to add a new column to my blog called "The Bossy List" to share some of the things I've stumbled upon over the course of the week that I love to read/watch/listen to/laugh at and that I think you need to know about. Sort of like a snack-sized portion of Bossy's Favorite Things.
I'll try to post The Bossy List once a week. Oh fuck it. I'll post whenever I feel like it. There are no rules here.
1. Casual (Hulu). Casual is Hulu's Golden Globe-nominated original dramedy series about the complicated relationship between recently divorced Valerie (Michaela Watkins), her sometimes depressed, sometimes whore-ish brother Alex (Tommy Dewey) and Valerie’s free-spirited daughter Laura (Tara Lynne Barr).
Haven't started watching yet? What are you waiting for? We are already in the middle of season two! But don't sweat it; you can catch up on Hulu now. New episodes are added every Tuesday.
Yes, I just gave you summer homework.
2. The Avett Brothers, True Sadness and The Lumineers Cleopatra. This is laid back, sleeping in a hammock, barefoot in the sand summer music. Pick up both albums and go on vacation.
3. The Real Housewives of New York City (Bravo). Are you watching? This season of RHONY is NEXT LEVEL Real Housewives craziness. From Bethanny calling LuAnn a whore; to Dorinda sloshing yet another martini around while slur-screaming at Ramona; to Jules breaking her vagina and showing everyone the pics - it's probably the best train wreck season of the RH franchise yet! It's so fun. Make yourself a stiff martini, put on your fanciest PJs and catch up on BravoTV.com.
4. Honesty. Whether it's no makeup Wednesday, letting it all hang out bathing suit pics on Facebook or a woman who's just given birth sportin' an adult diaper, it's all about being honest and true and not pretending everything and everyone is perfect. I love it.
Can't. Stop. Laughing.
Stay bossy America!
