2. "Making Oprah" Podcast (WBEZ)
I love Oprah. I loved "The Oprah Winfrey Show." I miss "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Now - more than ever - we need Oprah in our lives, to tell us everything's going to be okay. But alas, we have to settle for nostalgia...and this is it: WBEZ in Chicago has released a three part podcast series called "Making Oprah." Host Jenn White tells the story of Oprah's rise to fame in daytime TV from the early '80s until the show went off the air in 2011, and how she became such a powerful icon in America. Love love loved it.
Find more info on WBEZ's site here or download from iTunes.
3. Capital Cities new single and video "Vowels"
If you're a Capital Cities fan, this is exciting! CC hasn't released any music since In the Tidal Wave of Mystery in 2013. Word has it they will release a new album in early 2017. Enjoy!
4. Ergo Brushes
My stylist Charlotte has been telling me for-ever to get one of these brushes and up until recently I resisted. $38 for a brush? But I finally got one and she was right (she's always right): Best. Brush. Ever. It takes less time to blow dry. It smooths. It adds shine. It unloads the dishwasher. It does it all!
