The Bachelorette, season 11: spoilers that are good for you

I don't know about you but I was pretty pissed when ABC declared there would not be one, but TWO women "competing" for the season 11 role of The Bachelorette. Humiliating, right? The point of The Bachelorette is to put the WOMEN in charge. And they shat all over that. Plus everyone knew that Kaitlyn was "America's pick" for The Bachelorette anyway. Britt is a shyster who doesn't shower.

What's wrong with you ABC??

Well, the show started taping last Friday. I've been following the gossip because this whole thing bothered me and I wanted to see if ABC was going through with this cockamamie idea.

Yup. They did.

I don't usually get involved in spoilers. I think Reality Steve is a big downer. Why watch the show if you know what's going to happen? Seems pointless to me. But in this case, I was leaning toward NOT watching this season at all because of this nonsense, until I heard the news...

Do you want it?

OK here it is SPOILER ALERT:

The good news: Kaitlyn was chosen by the men to be the "official" Bachelorette!

I love it when good karma kicks in and makes everything alright.

The bad news: Britt is still "involved" in some way. Of coooooooooourse she is.

Hey, I'm still looking forward to May 18 for the premiere of The Bachelorette now that Kaitlyn's officiously our girl. I can't wait to watch her find a guy who can keep up with her wit and her energy. Should be a great season!
